Here is an example of six PE reports produced by The Report King. These were generated for a middle ability Year 6 child, and demonstrate how varied the reports can be for children with identical levels of achievement.
Remember, these were all created by simply entering "m" into the Class Editor! (We have purposely used the same name in each example.)

Timmy participates enthusiastically during PE and makes good tactical decisions in games. In gymnastics lessons, he is able to explain how strength and suppleness influence his level of agility and he includes variations of direction and speed in his movements. In addition, he understands how power helps him to perform well in athletic activities, and is happy using different techniques for passing and dribbling the ball.
Timmy enjoys all PE activities and has improved his dexterity a lot this year. He is able to choose appropriate actions to express the feelings and ideas created by a piece of music, and suggests ways to improve his own and others' performances during music and movement lessons. During his gymnastics work, he shows balance and strength when working on the apparatus, and he uses original ideas to express himself.
Timmy attempts to outwit his opponents during team games and often participates in sports lessons with enthusiasm. In his gymnastics work, he has been encouraged to select his own apparatus and he displays consistency, accuracy and clarity in his movements. Timmy uses forehand and overhead shots in tennis, can play an attacking or defending role in team games, and moves with more confidence through familiar orienteering courses.
Timmy can sustain an activity at a level which will keep him fit, and generally tries hard. During his gym work, he adapts floor work well to the apparatus and he chooses from a wider range of actions. He refines his own work and responds creatively to a range of different stimuli during dance activities. He also marks opponents during matches and uses different techniques for shooting, controlling and passing the ball.
Timmy has become more actively involved in physical activities and demonstrates reasonable dexterity and skill in general. He uses a range of fielding skills with more control and helps his team mates to defend their goal. During gym lessons, he performs different body shapes and actions with skill, and he exercises on the floor and the apparatus with good control. In dance, he displays an understanding of safe exercise and performs movements with expression.
Timmy has improved his agility a lot this year and has become more actively involved in sporting activities. He arranges his own warm up and cool-down exercises during dance activities, and is able to use a wide range of movements when improvising. Timmy shows good technique and increasing accuracy when throwing over a distance, and creates problems for the opposition during team games.
Here is an example of six writing reports. These are for children working at Level 1 in Year 1. Remember, these reports are for children with exactly the same level of ability, and if the statements do not exactly match your student, you can change them using your word processor.
Timmy is presently working slightly below national expectations in his writing. He makes simple picture books that have a title, the author's name and a cover, and his statements can now be read by someone else. He uses some common patterns when attempting to spell unknown words, and is starting to use capital letters and full stops.
Timmy's level of skill in writing is just below national expectations for his age. He can read his work out loud, and he arranges a short series of statements in a sensible order. He uses his phonic knowledge to write regular words and tries to use simple punctuation.
At the moment, Timmy is working just below national expectations in his writing. He uses letter patterns and sounds to word build, and is starting to show an awareness of where to place full stops in his work. He is happy to read back his work to the teacher and he communicates meaning through short phrases and words.
Timmy's writing ability is slightly below national expectations. He puts together simple picture books that have a cover and the author's name, and he writes sentences that are similar to the way he speaks. Timmy is learning to say a sentence before writing it and makes some plausible attempts at spelling common words.
Timmy is presently working slightly below national expectations in his writing. He has a growing awareness of where full stops should be used, and makes more recognisable attempts at spelling unknown words. He uses recognisable letters and words to express meaning and he is able to write a simple story, using pictures to help.
At the moment, Timmy is working slightly below national expectations in his writing. He can write simple texts, such as explanations, stories and labels, and he puts down his thoughts in a series of short statements. Timmy is beginning to use consonant blends when spelling unknown words, and is starting to use capital letters at the start of a sentence.
